The Vine

130125110109-vine-twitter-app-story-topTwitter introduced an app called Vine that allows you to share video in six second increments. The internet and videos together have always been a great combination, especially when it comes to porn. For some reason it has become one of the most popular porn search engines on the web. Six seconds can be a lot of porn if it is good enough (and for some men that's all the time it takes), but I still question why it became so popular. There are tons of free porn websites out there where people can post whatever they want as long as it is legal. The only upside I can fathom is that there isn't as much spyware or ad-ware. However Vine is an app, so it's for the phone. I don't know anything about how "ware" affects a smart phone.

Apple is not happy about the increase of porn on their app. This makes me laugh since Apple has become the obnoxious rich person's brand when it comes to their phones and newer items. The reactions when a pornographic video became an "Editor's Pick" is like a page out of White Whine. To think that Twitter's dirty videos have nearly poisoned a part of Apple's prudish reputation is more than amusing. Grow some testicles Apple, or we'll show them to you.

50 Shades of Grey is Not a Rainbow

Housewives with boring sexless lives love 50 Shades of Grey. It is no surprise to me that these are the same people who love the Twilight series since 50 Shades of Grey was originally fan fiction of Twilight.

Ana Steele (really?), a 22 year old Mary Sue/Bland Protagonist has lots of sex with a Christian Grey, an older entrepreneur. Sometimes it contains the generic definition of BDSM. He gives her expensive shit in exchange for control over her. He obsesses over a contract that she refuses to sign. It is not just badly written, but it does not represent any sort of healthy relationship. I don’t expect a realistic relationship from a romance novel, but something does not sit right with me in this story.

This man is rich, handsome, and powerful. He sees her once and demands control over her. She takes the bait because he is rich and gives her presents. A true BDSM relationship (or any relationship really) is based on trust, not materialism.

The fact that 50 Shades of Grey is so popular and considered risque shames America’s sexuality. BDSM covers all sorts of fetishes, sexual activities, and types of relationships. Yet anything that could be considered more than what is featured in this book is sick, perverted, disgusting, and wrong. Do we have to wait until society deems our sex life normal to talk about it?

What’s worse is they are making a movie of this atrocity. Sheep are going to lick that up like the ending of a circle jerk.
